Actiz Services
The implementation project ends. The partnership doesn’t.
Integrations, reports, dashboards, new configurations and process review consulting: everything Actiz does for laboratories already running Actiz LIMS.
What we do
Everything a laboratory can hire after implementation.
Each of these services is delivered by the same team that knows your configuration, not by a generic team that must learn your process before starting.
Instrument integration
Automatic capture of results straight from the equipment, with no manual transcription. How the interface works.
When it makes sense: the equipment produces a result that is currently typed into the system by hand.
You get: the interface configured and tested, with the result going straight into the sample.
Integration with other systems
ERP, CRM, financial systems or any external application, with a blueprint before development. See the step by step.
When it makes sense: the same data is entered twice, in Actiz LIMS and in the ERP, CRM or financial system.
You get: the approved blueprint and the integration running in production.
New reports
Test reports, certificates of analysis, quotes and work orders designed in the format your customer and your audit expect.
When it makes sense: a customer, a standard or an audit started asking for a document in another format.
You get: the report, certificate or document template ready to issue in Actiz LIMS.
New dashboards
Routine, productivity and compliance indicators built on the data the laboratory already records in Actiz LIMS.
When it makes sense: management still builds indicators in spreadsheets with data that is already in the system.
You get: the published dashboard, with the indicators agreed with your team.
New configurations
New tests, workflows, rules and master data: whatever entered the operation after the system went live.
When it makes sense: tests, workflows or rules came in after implementation.
You get: the configuration done, tested with the team and in use.
Process review consulting
The CONFIA methodology diagnosis re-applied to today’s operation, for those who have used Actiz LIMS for years.
When it makes sense: the laboratory has changed since implementation (see the signals below).
You get: the process map as it is today and a prioritized adjustment plan.
Consulting
Your laboratory has changed since implementation. Has its configuration changed with it?
Implementation designed the system around the process that existed at that moment. Since then new tests, revised standards, more volume and new people have arrived and, almost always, some manual workarounds nobody planned that now look like part of the process. The review consulting is the CONFIA methodology diagnosis re-applied to today’s operation.
- The process map as it is today, including the exceptions and workarounds that are documented nowhere.
- The bottlenecks and rework that appeared after implementation: parallel spreadsheets, duplicate checks, repeated records.
- What Actiz LIMS already does and your laboratory does not use yet, with the real effort to enable each item.
- A prioritized adjustment plan, separating what is solved by configuration from what needs a separate project.
In many projects we solve problems the customer did not imagine the system could solve. On a base that has been running for years, that is the rule, not the exception.
How the CONFIA methodology diagnosis worksServices you can hire
Two services so the system keeps up with the laboratory.
Both are hired separately, when the laboratory needs them, and delivered by the same team that knows your configuration.
Configuration training
Service you can hire. We teach your team to configure what was built during implementation: master data, workflows, report templates and routine rules.
Autonomy is a premise of the methodology, not a courtesy: the laboratory should be able to evolve the system without opening a ticket for every change.
Continuous evolution
Service you can hire. As the laboratory matures, Actiz rolls out new modules, integrations and roadmap features, with the scope agreed before starting, so the operation moves at the pace of the business.
Product updates are part of your license and continue as long as you are a customer; they do not consume anything contracted for a project.
Signals
When it is worth opening a review conversation.
None of these signals is urgent on its own. Two or three together usually mean the operation has moved further than the configuration.
- The last process review was at implementation, and the laboratory is no longer the same.
- The team created parallel spreadsheets for tasks the system should cover.
- New tests, standards or customers arrived after the system was configured.
- An audit pointed out a requirement that is now met by hand, outside the system.
- A good part of the team has changed and knowledge of the configuration was lost along the way.
- There is a suspicion that the laboratory pays for features it does not use.
Next step
Your process keeps changing. The system should keep up.
A review conversation starts by understanding what has changed in your operation since implementation, and how much of that Actiz LIMS already solves today.
