Before digitalization, the laboratory operated with a limited in-house system and records kept in Excel spreadsheets, which led to traceability gaps, rework, and difficulty passing audits. As demand grew and the need to guarantee reliable results became more pressing, it became clear that it was time to adopt a complete, specialized LIMS system.
